The team flies Russian aircraft made by the Yakovlevs design bureau. These reliable and robust aircraft were designed for training and world class aerobatic competitions. Click Here to visit the Old Flying Machine Company website Team Guinot Wing Walkers The world’s only formation wingwalking team, sponsored by skincare giants Guinot, are seen live by over 5 million spectators each year. Standing on the wing of Boeing Stearman biplanes, wingwalkers roar into over 90 displays each summer, experiencing over 4G and 150 mph as the aircraft loop through the skies. Timetable Friday 25 July - 13:28 to 13:40 Sunday 27 July - 13:00 to 13:10 For further information visit the Team Guinot Website Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire Display The Royal Air Force, which is celebrating the 90th anniversary of it formation in 1918 this year, will take to the Northamtonshire skies in the aircraft that is most closely associated with the service - the Supermarine Spitfire. One of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Spitfires will be put through its paces above Silverstone, allowing the crowd to marvel at the speed and agility of this aircraft that first flew over 70 years ago. Timetable Saturday 26 July - 18:15 to 18:20 Hawker Hunter 1950 Jet Fighter When the jet age dawned the Hawker Hunter was one of the RAF's leading combat and training aircraft for nearly 40 years. The aircraft that will be on display at the Silverstone Classic is part of the Hunter Flying collection based at Exeter airport and is one of 20 examples of this beautiful aircraft based there. Timetable Saturday 26 July - 13:30 to 13:40 Sunday 27 July - 16:20 to 16:30 For further information visit the Hunter Flying Website The Red Devils Freefall Parachute Team The Parachute Regiment Freefall Team 'The Red Devils' is the official parachute display team of both the Parachute Regiment ('The PARAS') and the British Army. The team's role is to promote both the Parachute Regiment and the British Army in support of recruitment - this is achieved by carrying out over 100 spectacular parachute displays at public events each year and by attracting positive publicity through the media. The team is manned by 25 serving soldiers from the Parachute Regiment's three full-time battalions: 1, 2 & 3 PARA. Timetable Saturday 26 July - 19:45 to 19:55 For more information Click Here Vintage Aircraft Club In the past it was not uncommon for participants, and in some instances spectators, at motoring meetings to arrive in their own private aeroplanes. This event at Silverstone involving as it does racing cars from a number of eras is an ideal opportunity to recreate that scenario with aircraft from the same period. The Vintage Aircraft Club, which is based at nearby Turweston Airfield, will again be organising a gathering of various vintage and classic types of aircraft to fly and attend on both days.
