RetroRun
The Silverstone Classic RetroRun, which takes place on Saturday 26 July 2008, is a fun driving event for cars manufactured before 1988. It is neither a speed event nor a competition. There are four routes to choose from and each is approximately 100 miles in length.
There are four start points to choose from, with links to motoring history and through some of the most beautiful part of the English countryside. There is a maximum entry of 70 cars at each of the four start points. The RetroRun starts with a breakfast drink and snack for the driver and co-driver and a visit to the museum or factory. At a given time each entrant will start the run. On the route, the Road Guide will give directions and point out interesting sights on the way. At Silverstone an exclusive in-field RetroRun parking area puts entrants close to the action of the Silverstone Classic. On Sunday 27 July entrants will drive two laps on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit. ENTRY FEE The cost for entry to the 2008 Silverstone Classic RetroRun is £99.00 per vehicle (inc VAT).
