One of the best additions to the historic racing world in recent seasons has been the Woodcote Trophy for production-based sportscars produced between 1948 and 1956.

The immediate post-war era was a wonderful time for the sport as Europe emerged from wartime and people were able to rekindle their passion for racing. Italy frequently led the way and so it will be no surprise to see cars Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo making up a big element of the field.

However, MG, Aston Martin and Jaguar are just some of the British marques represented in the 60-minute race.
